Stain developed for classic mahogany boats, furniture, cabinets, doors, drawers etc.
Especially intended for use on mahogany timber
Can be applied both outdoors and indoors
Effective formula – the stain enhances the natural color, depth & luster of mahogany
The substrate should be clean & dry before staining
If degreasing is needed, this can advantageously be done with Epifanes Sprutförtunning
Previously painted or varnished surfaces should be scraped back to bare wood & sanded with P 80 – 180
Drying time: approx. 30 – 40 min at 20°C
We recommend allowing the stain to dry for at least 2 hours at 20°C before applying the next coat or varnish
When coating with 2-component varnish: let the stain dry for 2 – 3 days
Estimated coverage: 8 – 14 m² / Liter
Best applied with a brush or sponge
Apply the stain in the direction of the wood grain, excess stain should be brushed out with a slightly drier brush – to avoid “overlaps”
Work as quickly & efficiently as possible, as the stain dries fairly quickly
